Now what?
Sunday, April 15th, 2007Now what, after 1400 of us gathered for Easter Worship?
Now what, after lots of new faces came and heard the Good News?
Now what, after the one weekend of worship we all try to attend is now come-and-gone?
Now what, as the weather begins to slowly warm up (FINALLY!) any many of us gear up for spring/summer plans?
Here’s what…
- We keep the focus on Jesus Christ and not how big we’re getting, or how exciting it is to see so many new people each weekend.
- We keep flooding our community with invitation to “come and see” at St. Luke - come and see what God is up to!
- We keep hungering for God’s Word–in worship, in Small Groups, in Bible Studies, and in our personal and family devotions.
- We stay prayerful–cover EVERYTHING in prayer.
- We listen for God’s continued direction in accordance with our Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- We continue to freely and generously share our gifts with others–our financial giving, our investment of time, and our Spiritual Gifts!
Oh, it’s an amazing place to be at St. Luke! God is stirring. People are gathering. There is a buzz, indeed!
Let’s never, ever forget–however–that the tomb is empty and it’s God we need to thank for all the reasons to celebrate!
Easter Joy! Keep the faith, St. Luke–but don’t you dare keep it to yourself.
